• Telehealth100% Remote | Independent Contractor | Flexible ScheduleWe are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join a growing behavioral health team as an independent contractor (1099). This is a fully remote opportunity ideal for a PMHNP seeking a flexible supplemental role or a primary telehealth practice. The provider will deliver comprehensive outpatient psychiatric care to adult patients through a secure telehealth platform, including behavioral health evaluations, medication management, and ongoing psychiatric care. Position DetailsRole: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)Employment: 1099 Independent ContractorSetting: 100% Remote / TelehealthSchedule: Flexible; no fixed shiftsPatient Population: Adult men and women, approximately 35-70 years oldExpected Start: By October 1, 2026Call Requirements: No on-call requirementsWeekend/Night Requirements: NoneVisit-Based Model: Providers determine their availability and schedule based on patient visitsKey ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive behavioral health evaluations and psychiatric consultations. Provide psychiatric medication management. Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans. Provide ongoing psychiatric and behavioral health care through telehealth. Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support coordinated patient care. Provide patient-centered, evidence-based behavioral health services. Support men's and women's behavioral health and integrative wellness needs. QualificationsActive PMHNP license in Florida or eligibility through a compact license. Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority.1-2+ years of post-certification PMHNP experience preferred, particularly due to insurance credentialing requirements. Prior telehealth experience preferred. Strong clinical judgment and communication skills. Comfortable providing independent psychiatric care through telehealth. Interest in behavioral health and integrative wellness.
